Several years ago I started making rocking chairs and they have become one of my favorite pieces of furniture to build. The interaction between person and chair is very rewarding to me. The feeling of being cradled and the fluid motion of rocking is relaxation you don't get from other types of furniture. From the hand-sculpted seat and flexible back brace design that conform to and gently massage your back as you rock, to the meticulous sanding that invites the touch, these chairs are the most comfortable wooden chair you will ever sit in, for they are custom built for each individual based on their proportions.

All of my chairs are of museum quality but are made for home and every day family use.
