About Cappelletti Woodworks

Hi,

My name is John Cappelletti and I am a woodworker, with a passion for building beautiful, functional furniture.

For the past 10 years, I have been involved with production and installation of many “high end” architectural millwork projects, including custom paneling, custom casework and large trim installations for many well known corporations across the country. Although this work is still very rewarding for me, it cannot compare with the satisfaction of producing unique pieces of quality furniture that will, I believe, stand the test of time.

Influenced by the Arts & Crafts movement and the works and designs of Gustav Stickley, Oscar Onken, Greene & Greene, Frank Lloyd Wright and more contemporary woodworkers like Hans Wegner, Sam Maloof and George Nakashima, I started Cappelletti Woodworks in 2000.

What truly inspires me is the medium in which I work. There are so many beautiful woods that many people do not know exist, especially figured woods. I hope to change that and show people how beautiful furniture can be.
